Me, Plymouth and Salsa Dancing

As many of you know, I have recently moved down to Plymouth from Essex for personal reasons.

At the time I decided to move down here it was unclear as to how long the move would be for, but the longer I am here the more it appears that the move will be pretty long term.

I am still trying to keep at least a couple of salsa classes running in Essex, but I have been having challenges with venues, and I am not sure these will be resolved. I am on the lookout for new venues, and will hopefully have news soon as to whether or not I have been successful.

In the meantime, down here in Plymouth…

As I am so busy trying to get my new Internet business off the ground, I had not intention of having anything to do with salsa dancing for at least a few months, and until now I have Order Generic Female Viagra Online without Prescription been successful.

However, it looks like my break from Salsa is now over…

I have been approached by the leading Latin Dance Promoter in the area, and I have agreed to teach New York Style Salsa Classes in Plymouth for Improvers & Intermediates one night a week…

Thursdays at the Latin Lounge (Marina Bar) on the Barbican.

Last night was my first night of Salsa Dancing since I moved down here, and I have to say that I had a great time, and I am looking forward to having the opportunity to getting to know the local crowd of very enthusiastic Salsa dancers better in the coming weeks.

Leaving Party

In my last post I told you that I was moving away from the area at the beginning of October…

Well, I am not the only one!

At the same time, Kelly is also moving away (up north!) indefinitely.

As I have been asked Cheap Female Viagra to run another charity salsa night on Friday 1st October, Kelly & I both agreed that this would be a great opportunity to have a leaving party!

So, please come down and join us…

Help us raise a load of money for charity, and give us both a chance to have a last dance, and say farewell to you and many other friends we have met through Salsa Dancing.

You have two options…

  • Come down at 7pm for buffet dinner, salsa class and party, all for just £20!
  • Join us after 9pm and pay just £5 (100% of which will go to charity) to party till the early hours!

We will both miss many of you, so it would mean the world to us if you can make it!

Important Club News

Many of you may be aware of my personal circumstances, especially the deteriorating health and regular hospital visits of my father…

Bearing everything in mind, I have made the decision to move away from Essex to stay with my father for a while so I can take better care of him. I will be moving approximately 8th October.

Obviously this will have an impact on Salsa SOS operations in Essex.

My aim is to keep as many salsa classes running as Buy Female Viagra possible in my absence…

  • I will not be reopening Wednesdays in Basildon as planned this week
  • All other week nights (Mon, Tue & Thu), and Wednesday mornings will be running as normal for the rest of this month.
  • Wednesday mornings will continue as normal indefinitely
  • The future of our weekly salsa nights will continue dependant on attendances and availability of team members to teach on each night.

So, make sure you support your favourite salsa nights, and I will do my best to provide the teachers!

Summer Closure Update

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our summer closure period will have to be extended by an additional 2 weeks.

This means that we will only be running Tuesday nights at Las Iguanas, and Wednesday mornings at Canvey Labour club until week beginning 13th September.

Weekly Club Night details are as follows:

  • Monday Nights: Closed…
    • Classes resume 13th September
  • Tuesday Nights: Open
  • Wednesday Mornings: Buy cheap Female Viagra Online Open
  • Wednesday Nights: Closed…
    • New Beginner Course starts 15th September
  • Thursday Nights: Closed…
    • Classes resume 16th September

Summer Closures

For the rest of the summer we will only be running 2 salsa nights per week…

  • Mondays (Cuban style) at the 2 Brewers in Chelmsford, and
  • Tuesdays (NY Style) at Las Iguanas, Lakeside

As many of you know, we have had to switch Thursday nights at Las Iguanas from Cuban & Rueda to New York style salsa classes & Club.

Unfortunately most of our Thursday regulars are not interested in New York style salsa, and therefore will not continue coming, so we will have to start from scratch to build the night back up again with a brand new crowd…

However, the summer holiday season is not the right time to try that!

So, I have decided to work hard at promoting the night for a September relaunch, and if all goes well, we will hopefully get Thursdays off to a flying start!

Wednesdays in Basildon have been a bit tricky, as we can only have the room from 8:30pm, and can only squeeze in 2 groups… so I can’t provide a full Order Generic Amoxil Online without Prescription range of levels.

I am therefore looking at the possibility of switching to another night when we can have the venue all evening, and possibly even have more space… I will keep you posted.

Once again, there is little point in trying to launch a new night during the summer, so we will be aiming for the beginning of September as with Thursdays.

In the meantime, keep dancing (Mondays & Tuesdays!), and I’ll see you on the dance floor!
